It’s Pikachu!!! pika pika. I still remember that episode when ditto transformed into pikachu and had the derpy face. Pikachu is such a classic. And is now a block for my ditto disguised as other pokémon inspired crochet blanket. You can also use the pattern for this block to make something else as well.
I used the mini c2c stitch for the block and I had a gauge of 8×8 squares in 4×4 inches. My completed block without a border measured roughly 15×15 inches. If you have a different gauge the size of the completed block will be different. This pattern requires that you already know how to do a c2c or mini c2c stitch. Here is the chart with the colors you will need, which are black, yellow, red, and white.
I have this pattern progress tracker you can use if you prefer written instructions for the c2c block. It will only tell you the number of colors of the blocks for each row and it starts from the bottom right corner and ends at the top left corner. Your progress may not be saved if the page gets refreshed, you can check by clicking a row done button and refreshing the page. Good luck!
Just fasten off and you are done with another block! Yay! You can wait until you finish the other blocks to block them or you can go ahead and weave in the ends. If you do make it and post it on Instagram don’t forget to tag me @mas.geeky.knotz I would love to see what you made!
Please do not copy and paste this pattern and claim it as your own, you are free to share it as long as you link it back to this page.
